We are excited to announce that will be commemorating its 14th year, as we plan a grand celebration for 2 days on Saturday – Feb. 13, and Sunday – Feb. 14, 2010. This year’s theme is an explosive one – “Destination India”.
With warm welcome by the community at large, has become an eagerly awaited annual celebration. Started with a curious and humble effort of an ethnic community, today Indiafest is a symbol of cultural enrichment here in Brevard County.
It can be tough to comprehend the diversity of India where over a billion people, speaking over18 languages (including English) and countless dialects, live in an area a third the size of the United States. It can be inspiring to savor just a taste of that richness when it is reflected in so many ways -- through music, dance and clothing, with food and jewelry, and even in the spiritual and yoga art.
Over the years depicted many aspects of India such as: the Architecture and Personalities of India, the different Religious Weddings of India, a Journey Across India, the Festivals of India, the Urban & Rural Styles of Living in India, the Cottage Industries of India, and the Music of India, and all along, everyone enjoyed the tantalizing foods and arts and crafts of India.
Come and join us at in a festive and global atmosphere at the Wickham Park Pavilion on, Saturday - February 13, (10am to 6pm) and Sunday - February 14, 2010 (11am to 5pm).
